BULK WASTE COLLECTION UPDATES (26/10/2023)

As of October 2023 there will be a change to CETRA’s bulk waste collection service. Previously CETRA were receiving the service from our Cleaning Contractor free of charge. This arrangement has now changed, and our cleaning Contractor has informed us that they will now be charging us a tonnage disposal cost.

Potentially this will mean tenants, and leaseholders will now be charged for our bulky waste service/and or the service will be reduced to a weekly collection. However, CETRA will try to avoid any recharges to residents if you ensure the following rules are followed.

LAMBETH RUBBISH COLLECTION

Lambeth’s rubbish collection days are as follows:

  • Cedars Road and Victoria Rise: Monday and Thursdays
  • Lyncott Crescent: Mondays

Recycling is collected on Mondays on the Cedar Estate.

There are recycling bins provided around the estate:

• In front of block 2-12 Cedars Road
• In front of block 194-204 Cedars Road
• By the play area on Victoria Rise
• At Lyncott Crescent

Bulk Refuse

CETRA provides a bulk refuse collection service for small amounts of bulk. This takes place on Tuesday and Friday mornings where bulk should be left out before 10AM on the morning of the collection. If bulk is left out on non-collection days and CETRA have to make arrangements to clear it, you may be recharged.

For large amounts of bulks or large items (e.g. wardrobes, 3 seater sofas etc), you will have to contact Lambeth Council on 020 7926 1000. They will charge an initial fee of £20.00 for the first 4 items (regardless of how many items there are) and then £5.00 for each piece after the fourth.
